We use a multi-source approach: automated Department of Energy (DOE) weekly bulletin data, direct API feeds from partner brands like Shell and Petron, community crowdsourcing where users photograph price boards (with OCR auto-extraction), and verified station operator portals. Each price includes a confidence indicator showing how fresh it is.

Yes! GetGas is completely free for all users. No subscription, no hidden fees, no login required. Just download, open, and start saving on fuel.
Tapping GO opens the Google Maps app on your phone with turn-by-turn navigation pre-loaded to the selected gas station. If Google Maps isn't installed, it falls back to your default browser with the route. Waze integration is coming in a future update.
Absolutely! You can filter by Unleaded, Premium, or Diesel. The station list re-sorts instantly to show the cheapest price for your selected fuel type. You can also filter by brand, distance radius (1km to 15km), and toggle to show only stations that are currently open.
GetGas launches first in Metro Manila (Q2 2026), expanding to Cebu and Davao by Q3 2026, and nationwide coverage by Q4 2026. Our goal is to cover 5,000+ stations across the Philippines within the first year.
